About Zae's Hope

Zae’s Hope will launch in the fall of 2024. Zae’s Hope was founded by Marcie Steward in May of 2020 when she decided that she wanted to make a difference in the life of her son, as well as many other men and women that had been incarcerated and felt like there was no hope in returning to society after incarceration. Zae’s Hope will be a Texas Re-Entry Inventiveness Program that will start out servicing the Amarillo area and its surrounding communities. Zae’s Hope is not your average “returning to society program,” it is a program that will provide needed resources to returning citizens, their families, and their future.

Our motto for Zae’s Hope Re-Entry Inventiveness Program is,” To be the change you want to see you must change who you used to be.” Our Team acronym i s S.U.R.V. I.V.A.L . meaning : S imply U sing R esources that are V ital I n their V ictory while A dapting to L ife. “This Thing Called Life” is not over just because one was dealt a bad hand, or decided to play the bad hand they were dealt, there is hope. There will be future Nurses, Lawyers, Entrepreneurs, Homeowners, Mentors, Drug Abuse Counselors, Inventors, etc., and success stories that will come out of the Zae’s Hope Program.

We will be partnering with other Nonprofits, local Universities, Colleges, Business Owners, Banks, Workforce Solutions, Housing solutions, and The Texas Board of Pardons and Parole to name a few to aid in the success of this program and its recipients.
